Both Corolla and Starlet models were assembled in Ireland from 1972 until 1983 and by 1985 Toyota had grown to become the number one car brand in Ireland, and continues to be the most popular car in Ireland to this very day. Toyota Ireland is responsible for the distribution of all passenger and commercial vehicles to its network of 57 dealerships nationwide.
